Tillica Tinta

Product description

Thermal paint is formulated with amorphous silica (Aerogel) and lime putty, which, when applied in thin films 0.3–0.6 mm thick, creates a barrier to heat transfer. It reduces heat loss in winter and absorption in summer, evens out the surface temperature of walls and prevents condensation and mould.

Application and recommended thicknesses

  • Substrate preparation
  • Remove dust, old paint, and mould
  • Apply a coat of Antibacterial Fixative (Natural Calk). To make the surface uniform, use Natural Calk Bio Rasante (Smoothing Substance)
  • Film distribution

Thickness per coat: 150–200 μm
Number of coats: 2–4 (with 1.5 mm equal to 8–10°C)
Drying times, touch dry: 3–5 hours (20°C).
Recoat: after 12 hours without a maximum limit.
Recommended tools: brush, short-haired roller, or airless spray for a uniform film.
Over Tillica Tinta, apply a final finish with Lime Milk Tint (NaturalCalk). It can be pigmented. If painting outdoors, apply Bio Protective Mix (NaturalCalk) by spraying from bottom to top.
