Intonachino
Natural Calk's Intonachino is naturally aged for a long time in tanks and obtained by wood-fired calcination of limestone, following UNI EN 459-1 standards. The product is enriched with marble granules, carbonates, colored earths and inorganic pigments.
Available in two grain sizes (C001 e C002), Natural Calk's Intonachino is applied in two or more layers, depending on the specific requirements of the project.
Thanks to its entirely natural composition, free from chemical additives, it is the ideal solution for bioarchitecture projects and restoration work on artistic and historical heritage.
Scope and Product Application
Natural Calk's Intonachino is used as part of the Tillica Pasta Natural Calk, system, applied in two coats after the application of Natural Calk’s Antibacterial Primer.
The application methods and drying times between coats, as well as for the entire finishing layer, may vary depending on the type of work and weather conditions. It is important to mechanically mix the plaster with a low-speed mixing paddle to ensure uniformity.
Application must be carried out in at least two coats, using:
- Stainless steel laminated trowel
- Stainless steel smoothed trowel
- Trowel and sponge
Natural Calk’s Intonachino can be painted with Natural Calk Lime Milk Paint or treated with glazes to achieve a shaded effect on the wall.
Features and Benefits
The yield of Natural Calk’s Intonachino is medium and may vary depending on the absorption rate of the substrate. The product has an unlimited shelf life, if stored correctly:
- Keep in environments protected from frost and away from direct sunlight.
- After opening, cover the product with a layer of water sufficient to prevent direct contact with air.
- Always ensure the lid is tightly closed after each use.

Warnings
Natural Calk Intonachino must not be applied at temperatures below 7°C or above 30°C. Care should be taken when applying the product in ventilated environments or where there is a risk of rapid drying, and the treated surface must be protected from temperature fluctuations, frost, and rain during the drying process.
It is essential to exclusively use Natural Calk products at every stage of the Tillica Pasta Systemin order to preserve its characteristics and ensure full effectiveness.

The application and use of the product are the responsibility of the customer or the applicator.
